Thad brought Sierra to Glen Oaks Big Sur thinking it was just a quiet weekend in the redwoods. A walk by the river. Time together. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Then he stopped.
Thad got down on one knee and everything changed. Sierra laughed, cried, and said yes without hesitation.
What she did not know was that Thad had planned one more surprise. As the moment settled in, her closest friends appeared, waiting nearby so they could witness it all and celebrate together. The shock turned into joy, hugs, and plenty of happy tears.
Big Sur did what it always does. Tall trees. Soft light. The sound of the river moving through the forest. Glen Oaks felt like the right place for something this personal. Calm, grounded, and honest.
They wandered. They sat by the water. They took their time. No rush. No pressure. Just the feeling of knowing this was the start of something new.
This Glen Oaks Big Sur proposal was not flashy or staged. It was thoughtful, intentional, and real. It ended the best way possible, surrounded by friends, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
