Behold, Jason and Leigh’s Henry Miller Library Big Sur elopement. Married under the redwoods by the library’s very own caretaker Magnus, a gem of a human. A gentle soul. We took photos in the dappled light of the woods (shoutout to the sunlit bugs that made for some ethereal vibes), and then jet around Big Sur to some favorite spots, and wrapping up with sunset at Pfeiffer Beach.
“Would you rather photograph only elopements or only big weddings?”
I’ve been asked this a bunch and the answer is always the same.
“Yes”
Yes to both.
Yes to the simple and the elemental. But also yes to the party with the people.
Yes to the wedding parties made up of all your besties, but also yes to just you two stealing this day for yourselves.
Yes to GPS coordinates. But also yes to the dope venue.
Either way, big or small, scaled up or stripped down, this day is yours and I’m here to witness it.
