A few frames from the first wedding just days after Covid became Covid. Jonathan and Katherine were supposed to have their guest-filled wedding at the end of March at Holman Ranch, but instead opted for an intimate wedding at Garapatta State Park on the Big Sur coast until they’re able to invite everyone safely to a big celebration, with yours truly as their sole witness.
This is how so many weddings will look for a while. Big parties distilled down to the very essence of what a wedding is. I know you’ll miss the hundreds of other guests who were supposed to be there. And hopefully that day everyone gathers will come soon. Until it does, I promise to be a good witness, friend, guest, cheering section… and photographer …alongside your intimate little ceremony.
