Tanner and Alie’s Big Sur Wedding at Henry Miller Library and Big Sur Lodge: Think summer camp mixed with a music festival, and then elevated. All their people came from all over the world to gather in this forested corner of California to party for a weekend. Definitely one of those weddings where I felt like I just added dozens of new friends by the time I left. Awesome day spent with incredible people.
The day started out getting ready at Big Sur Lodge, which brings the *actual* roadside lodge slash summer camp vibes. All the cabins are packed nice and close, so you really get that community feel. It’s rustic and charming and I love it to pieces.
We popped over to the legendary Henry Miller Library for their ceremony and party in the woods. Can’t say enough amazing things about this epic patch of redwoods. If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding venue in Big Sur, honestly, put this at the very top of your list (and then email me please) because it’s everything a Big Sur wedding was meant to be. Right off Highway 1, surrounded by ancient redwoods, incredible sunlight ripping through the trees, books, boho, and everything that makes Big Sur, Big Sur. (BTW, if you’re looking for more Big Sur wedding venue options, I gotchu)
And as always, this is just a handful of my favorite photos, but if you’re wanting to see everything I delivered from their wedding, give this a click.
